Senior Hardware Engineer
Fremont, CA

We are expanding our U.S. team and seeking two experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineers with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience. Candidates must be based in the United States.
Position Overview
In this role, you will architect, design, and develop advanced embedded systems from concept through production.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop architecture
- Develop hardware specification
- Capture Schematic
- Supervise PCB Layout
- Create BOM
- Develop boot loader / board support package
- Develop bring up the software
- Test and bring up the newly assembled board
- Design verification test
Key Responsibilities
- Architect system‑level hardware solutions
- Develop detailed hardware specifications
- Capture schematics
- Oversee PCB layout, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI)
- Create and manage bills of materials (BOMs)
- Collaborate with software teams on bootloader development
- Perform system bring‑up and testing
- Conduct design verification and validation

Mechanical Engineer
San Jose, CA

Required Knowledge and Skills:
- 2+ years experience with:
- Mechanical precision sheet metal design.
- 1U & 2U chassis enclosure design.
- Solidworks as a mechanical design tool.
- Reasonable written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality networking appliance enclosures.
- Support our thermal analysis team when thermally optimizing our appliances.
- Create manufacture drawings and work closely with our onsite Operations Team during new product introductions.

Hardware Product Manager

The Hardware Product Manager is responsible for the Team’s execution of customized security-centric network appliances and switches. In this role you will work alongside Interface Masters’ world class hardware engineering and operations teams and ensure that customer expectations are met on schedule.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the execution of custom security-centric network appliances and switches.
- Collaboration implementing an organizational structure focused on meeting schedules and delighting customers.
- Direct engagement with customers, partners, hardware engineering and operations.
- Team player with a positive attitude who is dedicated to strengthening and training, verus reprimanding and penalizing weak performers.
Requirements Include
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, schedule and development resources.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams, project management, program management and operations.
- Proactively identify and resolve internal and external barriers that may impair the team’s ability to meet customer’s expectations.
- Excellent customer service skills required (timeliness of delivery and quality).
- Ability to work with key resources in other geographies.
- Passion for creating innovative solutions for consumers

Education

We are looking for several entry-level hardware design engineers to join our expanding team In San Jose, California. In this position you will be part of a team to design and develop new embedded systems and sustain exiting products.

- Support operation with a functional test of products
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
