Interface Masters Technologies presents Tahoe 8724, a highly-flexible 1U networking appliance designed for enterprise installations. Tahoe 8724 is based on Cavium 64-bit MIPS technology.
The appliance supports Cavium’s CN78xx family of processors and features four fixed ports of 10G SFP+ and two field-replaceable I/O modules. Three I/O modules are currently available which support either eight ports of 10G SFP+, two ports of 25G SFP28 or two ports of 40G QSFP+. New I/O modules are in development — please contact our sales office for the latest list of I/O modules.
Tahoe 8724 comes equipped with two redundant hot-swappable power supplies and four field-replaceable fans.
Interface Masters provides support for the Cavium SDK on multiple Linux distributions. Additional software and firmware enables rapid application development. Interface Masters offers Layer 1 and 2 support as well as software application development capabilities.
