Interface Masters Joins Pica8 Inc.’s Expanding Hardware Ecosystem

PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pica8®, Inc., the leader in open systems for software defined networking (SDN), today announced that Interface Masters has joined Pica8’s hardware ecosystem. As a qualified ecosystem partner, Interface Masters will resell PicOS™, Pica8’s SDN-ready network operating system to complement its full portfolio of 1GbE, 10GbE, 40GbE and 100GbE data center switches for top-of-rack (ToR) and spine deployments.

PicOS is the first bare-metal-compatible network operating system that enables customers to seamlessly migrate from conventional networking to SDN. PicOS delivers SDN solutions through Pica8’s adoption of Open-vSwitch (OVS). Pica8’s switching and routing support contributes to easy integration and adoption into existing network topologies, while OVS provides the SDN functionality and northbound interface that DevOps users expect.
