San Jose, CA, July 30th, 2012 – Interface Masters Technologies, an industry leader and innovator in networking solutions, today announced the industry first 10Gb PacketMaster Family that supports 10GBASE-T Hardware-based Load Balancing and utilizes a hybrid 10G approach by providing 24 ports of 10GBASE-T and up to 24 ports of 10GBASE Fiber SFP+ to ensure flexibility, scalability and compatibility with existing installations. Niagara 4224-24TX provides extensive packet management functionality including L2, L3 and L4 packet filtering, packet slicing, advanced Mirroring, session based traffic distribution and traffic aggregation. The PacketMaster supports flexible 10GE fiber media configuration and connectivity to 10G or 1GE networks via SFP+ or SFP transceivers while the 24 10GBASE-T ports can support 10 Gbps over CAT6A cable or 1 Gbps over CAT5A. In addition, Niagara 4224-24TX possesses a powerful and full-featured software suite that can be managed remotely via the management (or console) port. The intuitive and powerful Web GUI enables simple “drag and drop” and “point & click” configuration of input and output ports, network links, monitor ports and filters while providing extensive statistics retrieval.
