Niagara 510 Multi-Core Smart Network Adapter Boosts Packet-Processing in High Speed Monitoring, Security and Networking Equipment

Las Vegas, NV -Black Hat Conference- July 31st– Interface Masters Technologies, an industry leader in high speed networking systems, today announced Niagara 510, a 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) Smart Network Adapter. This new addition to Interface Masters’ existing Smart NIC family fully offloads secure network services, packet classification and network protocol processing from host CPUs to handle up to 40 Gbps of high speed network traffic.

This Smart Network Adapter comes in PCI-e form factor and is tuned to optimize Networking and Security Appliances, Servers and Storage Systems. The Niagara 510 utilizes a multi-core architecture to address high speed networking applications. With four 10Gb fiber interfaces, up to 16GByte of DDR3, and PCI-e x8 in a half-length PCI-Express form factor, this PCI-e adapter addresses a broad range of applications for developing Intelligent networking platforms. The Niagara 510 will enable the market to meet the growing demand for intelligent network acceleration and application offload for converged datacenter applications such as storage, security, DDoS, deep packet inspection (DPI), Firewall, WAN Optimization, and application delivery computing.

Availability

Niagara 510 is available for evaluation and volume production and supplied with an extensive SDK supporting Linux and bare metal OS. The product is being presented at the Black Hat Conference in Las Vegas.
